However, like for any other equipment, twist stepper too needs regular care and maintenance. If you are a regular user of the equipment, the first thing to ensure is that all the screws, nuts and bolts and any other areas of joints are intact. Due to presence of multiple moving parts, their joints with the main body of the machine often loosen. Hence, it is safe to tighten these screws and nuts with screw driver and a spanner. Also check for wear and tear of various parts. If a critical part such as pedals has developed cracks, immediately stop using the equipment.
If you are living in areas of high moisture, then guard your equipment against rusting. Apply anti-rust liquids, especially, before the rains. Also keep all the parts adequately lubricated so as to avoid any breakage. Many people can’t exercise throughout the year. Often they have to travel or due to health reasons, stop exercising. See that you cover the twist stepper adequately before putting it away in some dark corner of your closet.
Clean the twist stepper seat with mild soap and water. Avoid any strong bleaching agents to remove some stain. Clean the steel part first with a wet piece of cloth and then remove the water with a dry cloth. Dust it with a regular duster. You can use a home blower in extreme cases to blow out the dust from all parts.
Twist stepper users have found the equipment a big help in exercising. And with little time spent on its maintenance, it will give you service for long time and bring many smiles to your family.
